SELF DRIVE HORSBOXES AND TRAILERS
We have an exceptional 3.5t horsebox for self drive hire (driver occassionally available) plus and Ifor 510 trailer
Both vehicles are well maintained and available at reasonable rates.
The payload, space, build quality and power of the horsebox far exceeds anything we have seen locally for a long time!

Hi. Can you tell me what payload the lorry will take please? I have 2 x 17.1 Irish Draughts, both weigh in at app 800kg. I normally travel them singly in my Rice Trailer, but I am more and more likely to need to travel them to hunting & hunter trials together this season. If lorry is big enough, perhaps you could email me some prices to jean.bywater@bromley.gov.uk. Many thanks

I dont think any 3.5 ton will ever have enough pay load, its not just the horses, its people and tack too. While looking at 3.5 tons, the largest payload I found was 1400kg, with the average being 1100.

Hi
Our payload is 1200kg but that is AFTER you allow for a full tank of diesel and 2 people, so unfortuntely even though we have a higher genuine payload than most, 1600 kg would be over.
The Ifor Williams trailer has a payload of approx 1600kg so you could use that. Towing should be fine as you would have to tow a vehicle capable of towing 2684 kg anyway, regardless of what you are physically towing!
Hope that helps?
