I am looking for a second horse as, since I got back riding after nearly a year off when Manny was out on loan, I have really got into schooling and Manny really doesn't enjoy it!
I am looking for a confidence giver that is good for a sometimes nervous rider(as I still suffer at times!) but is not a plod that needs constant kicking on. I would like something with a 'horse' stride, rather than pony as I have been really enjoying riding something that bit bigger recently, rather than Manny who is a 15hh cob.
Eventually I will be doing local RC bits - low level dressage, SJ and XC - but for now it needs to enjoy schooling and hack safely and sensibly alone and in company. Something that doesn't need to be ridden everyday, and you can get back on after a few days off and it will be exactly the same.
I would prefer a gelding, but am open to a non-marish mare and something around 16hh ish (but slightly smaller or bigger is fine). I weigh 13st and am 5'7 to give you an idea. Age range between about 8 and 14, but again I'm flexible for the right horse.
Thanks, Julia
