Approx 2 year old black and white small gypsy colt cob for sale. If not sold by tuesday owner is taking him to the meat man.
He is still intact and is pretty much wild so would need a lot of work done. He is up for £150 ono.
Please can someone help him, as its such a shame for such a young horse to go to slaughter. Owner doesnt want to spend the time taming him and has given me till tuesday to try and help find him a home.

unfortunately he wont part with it for free as he has been offered money by the meat man, so wants near to what he has offered him. Very cruel of him and I have tried my best to persuade him otherwise but he is not budging on it.

Im pretty sure thats something different on facebook as I know the bloke that has this horse, and he definately means it.
I have now managed to find a home for him and he will be picked up on Tuesday morning, and is going to a really nice home.

Same as anyone else, horse cost money to keep, get money and quick sale for slaughter! We had this somewhere, I had cash waiting, I didnt want to buy him, but couldnt see him go to slaughter, he was bought by someone else before me, im glad because I got my boy instead

The main reason he was gonna send it to slaughter was because it kicked him. The horse is wild and when they roughly rounded him up and caught him, the poor thing panicked and lashed out, resulting in the owner getting kicked. Each ttime the horse has been handled, it has been very, very rough so he just thinks that hes gonna be hurt again so lashes out if you are anywhere near the back end.
Just the natural fight or flight behaviour of the horse, but the owner now holds a grudge against him, and calls him spiteful. His attitude is he hurt me so why should I feel anything for what happens to him. Not right, I know which is why I went out on a limb to find a nice home for him. It wasnt the horses fault and is not right that he should suffer or be killed, especially at such a young age. Its evil really.

No, its someone different. Dont really want to mention his name on here though.
Thanks Amanda. We know hes going to one of the best homes where he wont be hurt again, and that it wont take long for her to sort him out.
See you later xx
