hi all i'm looking for stable yard or fields for my ponys in chatham, rochester, rainham, upchurch, aylesford, bredhurst, boxley, hartlip them sort of areas don't mind tidying up and repairing fencing etc. ideally min 1-2 stables, water, electric but ANYTHING considered in or around the medway\kent area would be well looked after , i've tryed all local tack shops, internet ads ,searched for derelict livery yards but just keep drawing blanks so thought i'd see if anyone on here could help? if anyone knows of anything please let me know thanks clare x

hi iv found few yards over the years, and the best way to find somewhere is to drive around and if u see land that could be or has been used for grazing, is to get out and knock doors and ask people who owns the land. You have to be bold to find the best places. And be prepared to get told no not horses. And to do a lot of runing around, Hope that helps x ;D

I spent forever looking for land in Medway - it's like the proverbial rocking horse poo!! I now travel from Walderslade to Hoo as it was the closest I could find!!
Try pulling up Google Earth pics and seeing what you can find that way. We actually spotted a lot more that way than just driving up and down roads.

we spent 4 years looking for a yard.eventually we found but were in negotiations for over 1 year.I believe the best way to find somewhere is by putting signs up on gateposts.Good luck and keep looking
